One reason why is because there ads successfully influence the public in practicing safe sex. Also the ad has a very effective wording within the ad directs the viewers to think about the underlying message in the text. In which the author is pretty much saying that every guy that doesnt use a condom is seen as a pig. to show the emphasis that men need to evolve away from being pigs and using Trojan condoms will help them do so. The use of pathos is heavily used in order to create an emotional appeal to the audience. The ad heavily appeals to men who have sex in which they are emotionally targeting men who dont use condoms and portraying them as disgusting pigs. Therefore it causes men to rethink their decisions to practice safe sex and analyze how true that statement really is. Also it promotes the idea that men who use protection are more attractive to women and have a higher chance in having sex if they do use protection. This ad is effective when convincing the men that practicing safe sex is important, and uses the three appeals of logos, ethos, and pathos. Trojan clearly emphasized the message and was very emotionally appealing to the audience which help grab the attention of whoever the reader may be. The use of pigs causes audience to remember the ad and to make the right decision to practice safe sex.
