Teaching/ Learning Procedures: (Objective and purpose) I will open up the Weebly webpage (http://www.weebly.com/msbondclassroom.htm), and navigate through the website for the students. I will show the students the Texas Revolution video (YouTube). I will show them the Capzels PowerPoint, and inform them that they may do this project after the trial. This extra credit project will not be due until after the mock trial. I will have the students complete the Treasure Hunt on my website. I will break the class up into groups of two (these groups will be computer lab partners). I will take the students down to the computer lab, and they will complete the questions on the webpage. CONTEST: The students must answer two questions correctly, and show me, in order to qualify for the Treasure Hunt contest.

Whoever answers the most questions correctly and pairs the correct link to the question receives an award. Formative Check (Check for understanding): Ask the students how the treasure hunt will help them in their mock trial.

Re-teach (alternative used as needed) I will have the students print out the webpage, and highlight where they found their answer. This can be printed in the BCS library before 1st period. The student will then use the printed material, and apply the selected information to their mock trial scripts. (Guided Practice) TSW work with their partner in the library and answer the appropriate questions given on the webpage. I will move from student to student to monitor their activity. (Independent Practice) Have the students independently answer The Big Question at the bottom of the page, and turn it in to me.
