SCHOOL COUNSELING CORE CURRICULUM ACTION PLAN

Increase the percentage of students that arrive on time each day from 38% to 50%. Increase the percentage of students who are on-track for graduation from 45% to 55%.

First lesson will be on March 25th during advisory. Time will be given for accountability partners to follow up on April 1st. If individual student follow up is needed, it will occur with the counselor after April 1st.

This lesson will be presented to 100% of the sophomore class in groups of 20-30 during advisory.

Teachers report that there is a notable increase in sophomore students turning in homework on time following this lesson.

Student tardiness decreases by 10% due to increased time management skills and awareness. The number of students failing one or more classes decreases by 10% as a result of this lesson.
