Coordinated the application, payment, food safety training and logistics for over 100 student organizations during annual Block Party Welcome Event attended by more than 10,000 students and community members. Composed professional letters and e-mails sent to students or families regarding orientation. Worked with confidential student information such as student identification numbers, financial aid distributions, personal identifiers and academic history. Processed and inputted cash, check, money order and credit card payments from Orientation fees. Collected and inputted student information such as communication logs, payment history, session date changes and cancellations into the Orientation Registration database. Assisted with the set-up, registration, execution and follow-up for each orientation program. Assisted with trouble-shooting and problem solving as challenges arose during the program. Assisted students one-on-one to find classes that satisfied degree and graduation requirements. Aided in the student transition by comparing/contrasting the different experiences and responsibilities students have compared to high school or another institution.
