for the PhD-student position in Biomedical Technology. I studied Medical Physics, from 2009-2010, at the College of Medicine University of Lagos, where I obtained a Master's degree. I am also interested in the use of nano-particle applications and I delivered a conference paper NANO-ADDITIVE TO BIOFUEL FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. I am really motivated to continuing my interest in this scientific field and for this reason I expect that the PhD position will contribute enormously to my future research-career plans. During my five years studies at the University for my Bachelor Degree in Physics Electronics, I took courses in chemistry and electronics. I have also taken courses in anatomy and physiology. My first work experience in the university was at the department of Biomedical Engineering where I gained grounds in areas biomedical technology. Over the course of my experience years, I worked in a Biomedical Engineering laboratory where I became acquainted with biomedical measurements and signal processing using National Instrument equipment. I am a self-motivated, determined individual and I look forward to the social and academic challenges of a prestigious university. I am aware of the demands of this field but my commitment and desire to become a quality PhD degree has only been strengthened by my motivation.
