SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
I have had enjoyable experiences working with preschool and school age children (ages 4 to 12) in a licensed, recreational care environment. I have recently worked as a team leader with children of various developmental backgrounds and behavioral needs at an Out of School Care center. I excel with situational based challenges, creative problem solving, new environments and working both independently and collaboratively on time restricted tasks. I enjoy meeting new people, new groups of children, learning and adapting new skill sets and challenging previous concepts by maintaining a flexible and open mindset. I am an intrinsically motivated individual who is accomplished in various interpersonal communication methods and conflict resolution. I am also a highly creative individual, having utilized my extensive training in the performing arts in both classroom and performance related environments. I am currently completing my post-undergrad degree program in Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education. I also intend on pursuing graduate studies in Education, with a focus on classroom-learning motivation methods in early childhood education and identity development within the early childhood years.
