THE INTERLACE

Where Urban Living meets Nature…

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
Singapore’s New Iconic development “The Interlace” has been published
worldwide in many architectural blogs and magazines. Designed by Ole Scheeren,
who is a partner at the world renowned architictural firm (OMA-Office for
Metropolitan Architecture), this iconic project is a new residential typology to
Singapore. It breaks away from the traditional isoloated blocks.
The interlace, is a large-scale blocks of 31 apartment buildings that is
stacked creatively in a hexagonal shape developed by Capitaland and Hotel
Properties Limited.

The eight hectore (equivalent to almost 16 football fields) development is

surrounded by Alexandra Road and the Ayer Rajah Expressway, amidst the
lush greenery southern part of Singapore.

Within the 170,000 metre square (about 860,000 sqft) compound, the
project consists of 1,040 apartment units of varying sizes (2 / 3 / 3+Study /
4 bedrooms, Townhouses & Penthouses) with extensive lush landscaping and
outdoor space. It forms a seemless green belt that stretches between Kent
Ridge, Telok Blangah Hill and Mount Faber parks.
