Hamza is often written on a chair, which can be alif, waaw or yaa. Sometimes it is written by itself,
more common at the end of the word; it is unusual for it to be in the middle of a word without a chair.
If the hamza comes at the beginning of a word, it usually uses an alif as its chair. Otherwise which letter
is used as a chair is determined by the vowel the hamza takes, and the vowel the letter before it takes.
