Comparing two Proportions We use Crosstabs with Chi-square for this purpose and with the theoretical reasoning that z = square root of ( Chi-square) and the p value of Chi-square is same as Z test of proportion, evaluate the outcomes. In the same file we use another binary variable gender with 0 = female and 1 = male to test whether the proportion of buyers differ between the two genders.
