OUR MISSION:
The Mission of Leadership students at Waterford Mott High School is to generate and enhance a commitment to service by all people - providing for a more caring, just, and democratic community.

CONTRACT:
Leadership students will sign in with the front office when they arrive at their assigned school. Leadership students will sign in the time they arrived and the time they left in the classroom with their assigned teacher. Leadership students will be assigned a student (or group) to help tutor, teach social skills, and such. The assigned community service teacher will have an agenda each community service day for the Leadership student and grade the student on the six leadership characteristics (this sheet will be provided). At the end of the semester, the community service teacher will fill out a survey and grade their assigned Leadership student on the following six leadership characteristics:

Fairness Students played by the rules; was open-minded; listened to others; didnt take advantage of others; didnt blame others carelessly. Caring Students were kind; was compassionate and show they cared; expressed gratitude; forgave others; Helped people in need. Citizenship Students made your school and community better; cooperate; Stay informed; respected authority; protected the environment.
