AKTIVITAS ANTIJAMUR EKSTRAK ETANOL SOXHLETAST DAN MASERASI

ABSTRAK

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang aktivitas antijamur ekstrak etanol daun mimba lAzadirochto indical terhadap Candido albicons dengan metode dilusi. Ekstrak tersebut dihasilkan dengan cara soxhletasi dan maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 70%. Penentuan kandungan senyawa dalam ekstrak dengan metode Kromatografi Lapis Tipis. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa ekstrak soxhletasi dan maserasi daun mimba (Azodirachta indica) mempunyai aktivitas antijamur terhadap Candida albicons. Ekstrak soxhletasi lebih efektifdalam menghambat dan membunuh jamur Candida, albicans dibandingkan dengan ekstrak maserasi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perolehan Kosentrasi Hambat Minimum (KHM)dan Konsentrasi Bunuh Minimum {KBM). KHM dan KBM untuk ekstrak hasil soxhletasi sebesar O,20% dan O,62Yo, untuk maserasi sebesar 0,62% dan 1,85%. Hasil identifikasi Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT) ekstrak soxhletasi dan ekstrak maserasi daun mimba lAzadirachta indicol mengandung golongan senyawa flavonoid, tannin, dan saponin.

BSTRACT

on ontifungal activity of ethonolic extract of nimbo leave:s (Azadirachto indico) ogainst Candido albicons were done using dilution methad. Extrocts were produced from two different extroction method i.e. soxhlet and magerotion using ethonol 70% as solvent. Determination of compounds contoined in extrocts used Thin Layer Chromotography. The research resulted thot soxhlet and maceration extroct of nimbo leaves showed antifungol activity ogainst Candida albicons. Soxhtet extrocts exhibited higher activity than maceration extroct to inhibit Candido albicans. Thin Layer Chromotogrophy revealed that macerotion and soxhlet extracts contained flovonoid,
