Daily Lesson 4e,le#tion "3 What did you see the students doin+ .hile you .ere tea#hin+ the lesson8 .hile teaching this lesson, saw students struggling with the knowledge that they didn2t understand. !tudents had no interest in taking the written test and playing test )ecause it was difficult. %3 What did you hear students say .hile you .ere tea#hin+ this lesson8 heard students talking a)out how they didn2t know everything on )oth tests. !ome students talked a)out how unconfident they were and put themselves down. !3 Do you *elieve this lesson .as e,,e#tive8 9o. do you 0no.8 do )elieve this was an effective lesson )ecause it pushed the students to their limit. *hey saw material and played music that they did not understand and were familiar with. *he lesson seemed to let them reali3e that playing music takes serious time and practice.
