Why do governments form?

To keep order and peace in the country or state and to keep the country away from anarchy.

What is the function of government?

The function of a government is to lead the people and to develop the country economically and politically and protect its citizens and provide them their needs.

Why do government systems change?

Government systems change if the people are not pleased with the government or if the government doesnt provide them their needs.

How do citizens influence their government and vice versa?

If the government is bad the citizens protest and change the government or vote and change the government. The government can change laws and sign different types of contracts to change peoples lives.

What are the types of government?

-Dictatorship -Democracy -Anarchy -Monarchy

Ideas: -Socialism -Communism -Capitalism

Dictatorship
Dictatorships are when there is one ruler or a small group of people who rule over the whole country, most of the time they are really evil. But sometimes they arent evil, and people actually need them.

Democracy
Democracy comes from a greek word called Demos kratos which means people rule. In Democracies there is voting for the next group of government people every few years.

Anarchy
No ones in charge so everyone should take what the need and give what the dont but that never happens so everyone takes and does what the want. Basically no rules and no government.

Monarchy
Monarchy is when the king the queen or the royal family rules everything they, decide the laws they decide if they want to go to war so they basically decide everything.

Ideas:
These arent actual governments but ideas.

Socialism
Socialism and capitalism get mixed together in a lot of countries. In socialism the taxes are usually very high because the government provides the people a lot of things pretty cheap. Health care food insurance etc.

Communism
Communism is based on the idea of fair share. It usually doesnt make a difference if you work more or less than others and youre not supposed be allowed to have more than others (such as food, toys, cars, houses, farm animals and etc.). In communism the government owns most of the things such as (land, oil,houses, factories, ships and stuff like that). There is usually no privately owned property. In communism everyone is supposed to have job.

Capitalism
Capitalism and socialism are mixed together in a lot of countries. Capitalism is a way of organizing the economy so that the things that are used to make and transport products (like land, oil, factories, ships, and stuff like that) are owned by certain people or companies instead of governments. If you work more and harder, you will get paid more, if you work less you will get less money.

Where did democracy form? democracy formed in ancient greek society democracy comes from the greek words demos and Krtos which means people rule.

How do governments change? When people protest about the government because they think its bad, they change it to stop the protest In the worst case, there could be a war going on the they have to change it Or the citizens vote for another type of government
