Dear Human Resource Executive, I am at the threshold of my career; I recently obtained a Bachelors Degree in English with a minor in Black Studies from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I have been researching careers of my professional interest and found that early childhood education is perfect for me! I have been working with children since 2007, in this time I have learned to be a very caring, patient, and passionate tutor, mentor, and lead teacher to children of all ages. Currently, I am enrolled in the Pre School Education program at Richard J. Daley College and completed a total of thirty early childhood education credit hours. I am also a volunteer at Easter Seals located at 1001 W. Roosevelt in Chicago. In the near future I intend to work towards my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I realize you will need to know a bit more about me to consider me as a suitable candidate, for this reason I have enclosed my resume for your review as the first step in the application process. I trust that you will find my early experience to be a strong indicator of what I would contribute as a skilled, hardworking member of your organization. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I hope to speak with you soon.

Sincerely,

Brittney N. Gardner
