The deadly strike took place in Islambad, Pakistan on Thursday in a spice market. The attack occurred in the Pakistani capital, and Pakistani government officials have confirmed the attacking saying that Taliban militants were the main targets. However, there were innocent Civilian casualties as a result of the strike. The US-led strike was motivated to remove the Taliban threat in Pakistan. There have been many unwanted casualties because of these strikes, and now the Pakistani officials are showing their outrage. These civilian casualties caused by US forces have been a major source of tension between Islamabad and Washington. Pakistan President has repeatedly questioned the legality of these drone strikes. The United Nations has identified the United States as the leader in targeted killings because of using drones. The local Pakistani have been fighting off the Taliban but the fight has been very difficult. Foreign intervention has tried to remove the Taliban, but it has been very hard due to the many mountains and civilians. Drone attacks were looked as a way to get targeted attacks. CIA Director Leon Panetta has recently said that drones are the only game in town. A spice trade, Fatima Alim saw the drone strike and said People were dying, People were crying, People were running..is this what the USA wanted? The drone strike occurred during the busy spice trade, although the drone was targeted, it was bombed at the wrong time and at the wrong place.

The drone strikes were fist used by the CIA in Pakistan under the Bush Administration. The process has increased by the Obama administration, and now the drones are used to assassinate terrorist leaders form more countries than Pakistan Drone strikes are not the only tragedy to Pakistan. Pakistani cities have been played with car bombs, and other attacks from terrorist group for years. For Islamabad, this is the most recent attack since Monday April 7th 2014, when a bomb exploded in a near by fruit market. This tragedy hurts foreign investment, tourist and image of Pakistan. This drone attack occurred after the recent fruit market bomb that the Taliban had claimed. Originally, the Taliban had agreed to a ceasefire. The actions by the Taliban caused the US action. A spokesman for the Creech USAF spoke up and apologized for the innocent casualties of war. The spokesman explained the great threat the Taliban cause, and it was a calculated risk to engage the drone.

Drones have caused controversy recently. There are the global and local issues caused by drones. The global issues come from the military, as discussed earlier but also interms of political issues. Recently, North Korean drones were found crashed in South Korea, so the military is using drones to spy on other countries. This has a lot of potential issues and might lead to war. If we look at the local level, drones can violate our personal privacy. America is a free country with rights, America is the country that people come to for their right to privacy and freedom. But drones violate this right because a neighbor or someone can get a hold of drone and videotape someone and violate a person's privacy. Other violations of privacy come from business and government spying on people and violating their privacy. Another issue with drones is the airspace issues. Who regulates the airspace? drones flying without regulation can cause harm to people and themselves and other drones. If everyone can control a drone, that is billions of drones flying in space without regulated flight paths. Drones might crash into each other, people, building, or other objects. I believe drones are not ready for people to use, I do agree that they are beneficial to military, movie studio people. I think it is hot topic to debate, I think we should allow drones if we can find a way to regulate the airspace, track and secure the drones, and have strong laws that punish people who use drones in the wrong way.
