Procedure
1. Measure 4 ml of 10% hydrogen peroxide using the small graduated cylinder and insert contents into 100ml graduated cylinder 2. Using the pipette insert two drops of detergent into the 100 ml graduated cylinder (same as step 2) and mix the solutions 3. Add 2drops of catalase and wait for 30 seconds before recording the volume of foam in the cylinder 4. Repeat steps 1 through 4 using a different hydrogen peroxide concentrated solutions in each trial 5. In order to prevent any contamination between different solutions glass cylinder must be washed thoroughly between each trial
2.Using the graduated cylinder, pour twenty-five mLs of H2O2 into the 50 mL beaker 3.Gently place the beaker of H2O2 into the water bath; heat the H2O2 to thirty-seven degrees Centigrade, or ninety-eight point six degrees Fahrenheit 4.Once the solution is at the desired temperature, add 3 drops of detergent. 5.Using a clean dropper add 1cm3 of H2O2 solution. 6.Using the stopwatch, wait for 30 seconds before recording the volume of foam in the cylinder. 7..Repeat steps four through seven three more times, changing the H2O2 solution when necessary.
