1st choice - Physical Therapy (Chiropractors, Occupational therapists, Recreational Therapists, Audiologists) 2nd choice Sports Medicine (AT, Doctor of Osteopathy, Exercise Physiologist, Kinesiotherapist) 3rd choice Occupational Therapy (SpeechLanguage Pathologists, Recreational Therapist)

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Bachelors degree Masters degree (Physical Therapy School) Licensure or certification is mandatory for a physical therapist to actually be able to practice and these licenses must be renewed on a regular basis. Those who meet and maintain the specific requirements that are specified by the state for which they choose to live and practice in are allowed to provide the citizens of their area with the care they need. The main tool used to determine if a physical therapist meets those requirements is the NPTE, the National Physical Therapy Exam

TIME AND MONEY PREPARATIONS

If you choose to start your own private practice, it would be best that you start off with some extra money on the side because these fields call for a need of equipment and aids.
PTs and OTs usually work normal day hours. SM workers (phsycians, ATs)can be put on call in the same fashion a doctor would depending on what type of patients they deal with.

JOB OUTLOOK
Starting in 2012, the Physical Therapy field has been expected to grow about 35% by 2022. Occupational therapy employment is projected to grow 29 percent from 2012 to 2022. will continue to be an important part of treatment for people with various illnesses and disabilities, such as Alzheimers disease, cerebral palsy, autism, or the loss of a limb The jobs the sports medicine field include are all projected to grow on their own because some occupations may become more important than others

IMPACT ON FAMILY LIFE

It will depend on which occupation I choose and the path I choose to take once I pick the occupation.
