APresentationofLearning(POL)isanopportunitytosharewithcommunitymembersandclassmatesyouracademicgrowthoverthesemester.POLswillserve asareflectiveanddemonstrationofstudentlearningandgrowth.Studentswillpresenttheiracademicandpersonalgrowthoverthesemesterusingevidencefrom theprojectsandlearningexperiencestostrengthentheirclaims.ForyourPOLpleasefollowtheguidelinesbelow. EXPECTATIONS PhysicalartifactsandtheDigitalPortfolio(DP)mustbeusedtosupportclaimsandevidenceofgrowth. StudentswillpresenttheirPOLsinfrontofamixedgroupofpeers,communitymembers,andteachers. Studentsareexpectedtodressinprofessionalattireallthreedays. Studentswillhave1012minutestopresentfollowedbya5minutequestionandanswerdialogue. AttheendofeachPOLtherewillbeabriefdiscussionwiththestudent,familyandteacher. Studentsareexpectedtobepanelmembersforotherstudents,askinsightfulquestionsandprovidefeedback.Studentsshouldnotbecheckedoutearlieras theirpresenceaspanelmembersiscritical.Panelparticipationforallthreedaysismandatoryandwillbeevaluatedasagrade.
