Before we read, we will be listening to a recording of a description of all the characters in Maniac Magee. Before class, I drew a picture of the character Amanda Beale. I asked you questions like How old do you think this girl is? and Where do you think she lives? You will pick two characters and draw a picture of what YOU think they look like. Ask yourself the same types of questions I was asking when we were talking about Amanda and draw your picture based off of those questions.
