This is one of the Presentations written by my students.

For every unit they have to write a Presentation, which is basically a longer composition on a specific topic. This presentation has to be from 1 page/ 1 page and half long, and it has to be written in a proper grammar since it is an assignment that the students must write home, having all the means possible to help themselves to check grammar (dictionaries, on line resources, etc . The presentation is worth !" points, and it has to be turned in in class the day when it#s due, it has to be presented in a written form but it has to be discussed in class in a group activity, in order to develop the oral skills as well. The presentation will be evaluated following this parameters $ %" points for the content 1" points for the correct grammar 1" points for the oral e&position.

The topic of this specific composition is music. 'tudents really liked to go over any genre of music in (taly, from )pera to pop, rock, funky and rap. (n the end ( noticed that they write about what they are more familiar with, and so they ended up talking about an artist that they already know. *ndrea +ocelli, and (talian opera and pop singer very popular in the ,'*, has been the main target. This student talks about *ndrea +ocelli focusing on his well know biography, on the fact that he is blind and on his performances with international artists like -eline .ion and /ary 0. +lige. The students analyses also the lyrics of his most popular song sung in duet with -eline .ion, 1The prayer2. Final comments are made for the description of his voice. The presentation is overall good, the content is valid and the use of images helps to provide an artistic frame to the presentation (and also shows some research and time that the student spent on the presentation . The grammar is the poorest part. The student#s mistakes consist in (mproper use of pronouns 3 ob0ect lo vs sub0ect lui(41 5ack of articles before nouns (4% position of the adverb (46 position of ad0ectives (4! 5ack of agreement between nouns and related articles (47 improper use of sub0unctive (48
