Summer Camp Mark your calendars now for Summer Camp at Lakeview, in Palestine, Texas, for all children in grades 4-12. Our week is set for July 7-11. Registration forms and information will be on our website soon! VBS Children currently in grades K-5 are invited to join us for a Weird Animals Adventure, where Jesus love is one-of-akind, on June 23-27. Mark your calendars. Registration information will be on our website soon! Confirmation Do you know a youth in 5th grade or higher? Have them join us in Youth Sunday school for the next few weeks as Billy helps them explore what it means to follow Jesus today. We will offer them the opportunity to confirm their faith in Christ in worship on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11. Even older youth who have been confirmed will enjoy our time together!

Vibrant Congregations Initiative Next weekend is our VCI weekend! A team of pastors from around the annual conference will join us to process the data we have provided about our community and our congregation. They will offer us a plan for effective ministry at Russell for years to come. They want to meet with you! Please dont miss the church-wide workshop next Saturday, from 10:15 a.m.3:00 p.m. in George Hall (lunch will be provided). We will hear our VCI report following traditional worship next Sunday, then gather for a pot-luck dinner to celebrate! Town hall meetings have been set to discuss the report on Sunday, May 4, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m., and Wednesday, May 14, at 7:00 p.m. A church conference has been set for Sunday, May 18, following traditional worship, for a congregational vote.
