Our mission The leading supplier of medical grade compression, we bring medical innovation to markets normally untouched by health suppliers. Our vision is to increase the general health and wellbeing of the worlds population, by educating them on the importance of maintaining good blood flow, through the wear of graduated compression socks. Focusing primarily on marketing scientifically proven merchandise that benefit the wearer, we will only produce products that have been subjected to thorough research & rigorous testing which ensures their efficacy. We call this standard gctech. Our Background Founded in 2007 our aim was to bring properly validated medical compression into the sports market - Now the leading supplier of medical grade compression to elite sport in the UK having worked with over 3,000 elite athletes in the last 5 years. We brought together medical expertise from world leading institutions such as UCL, and high quality manufacturing experience, creating products exclusively for the sports and health market.

We provide education to all the retailers, sports teams, physios and organisations that we work with to ensure correct measuring, profiling of products and maximum player compliance. We also offer this support to customers on our eCommerce site vitalactive.com. Identifying quickly that the retail compression market had no set standard, procedures or followed necessary British & European regulations, we saw a space in the market to bring the finest quality and proven compression out into the public domain. Now working across a range of sectors such as sports, rehabilitation, travel, maternity and daywear, we aim to provide a product for every lifestyle. What is gctech? gctech is a process to ensure you the wearer get the best quality compression available. It defines a series of steps from manufacturing, compression profiling, sizing, and packaging. Plus products with gctech have been extensively tested ensuring proven user comfort and durability. Throughout the catalogue, we have denoted the UK compression class of our garments using these symbols:
