Overall Introduction: The main purpose of the entire series of experiments was to help us learn calculate an empirical formula from a compound we synthesized. A. Synthesis Procedure #1: I. Introduction: The purpose of this experiment is perform a synthesis of a cobalt compound to obtain a batch of solid product. II.
