1. Exercise #1: My bonnie lies over the ocean
a. Objectives: learn song; smooth air for M6, diction, wake up/lighten mood/get blood moving
b. Assessment (informal or formal): informal listening and watching

Sight-Reading: Time Needed: 15 m
Title of Piece/Exercise #1: Varsity Mixed in GM no 2 (Sanders)

a. Rhythmic motive- 1_& 3 & 4; chant together
b. Chant solfege in sections and monitor (2m)

remove; 1_a 2 &_ e & 4 &, and remove/switch to doot (Tonight)
3. Items to Anticipate: reverting to wrong rhythm in runthrough, Alto part in Dont You, rhythm tonight
4. Assessment (informal or formal): informal listening

Closure: Time Needed: 2 m
1. Summarize objectives of lesson: solidify learned sections and learn bulk of last section
2. Communicate objectives for the next rehearsal: finish work on Tonight and sing through entire Bellas
Finals.
