this task?
G Students will understand the role they can have as citizens in their own
community and how technology can be used to show what is possible in solving
local issues regularly dealt with by the local government.

R Students will be taking the role as a member of the new generation who are
using collective action and technology to make government work better

A The audience includes their peers and teacher who are acting as a group of
local government representatives and citizens who are looking for more efficient
ways to solve local problems in the community

S Today the new generation understands how fast technology can spread new
ideas, and when working together collectively greater ideas can be produced and
bigger problems solved. As members of their local communities students will work
to identify local problems they have observed which they think need to be solved
in a more efficient manner.
R Role
What role (perspective)
will your students be
taking?
A Audience
Who is the relevant
audience?
S Situation
The context or challenge
provided to the student.
P Product, Performance
What product/performance
will the student create?

P - Students will demonstrate their findings by working in partners to create a
proposal for a civic app for their local government and community to use.
