necessarilyneedtobethefocusofthemeasurements.Theexteriorcontour(walls)ofthehomeshouldbethemain
focus,withsomefocusonsupportingorweightbearingwallsforadditionalfloors/ceiling.)
2.Studentsshouldalsofigureoutwindowanddoorsizesintheirblueprintingprocess,aswellasotherdetailed
elementsoftheirdesigns.

Day612:Production
1.Studentswillbeginbuildingtheirhomesusingeitherchipboardorcorrugatedcardboardandmaskingtapeorhotglue
tocreatetheirbasestructure.
2.Studentswillpapermachusinga50/50mixofwhiteglueandwaterandnewsprinttostrengthentheirstructures.
3.Studentswillgessoorprimeovertheirpapermachtoreadytheirhomesforfinishingdetails.

Day1315:Finishing
1.Studentswilladdtheirhomestoaplotofland24inchesby24inchesusingcardboard/chipboard/foamcore,etc.
2.Studentswilladdfinishingdetailstotheirhomesandlandscapethehome'splotoflandsimulatinggrass,dirt,bricks,
clapboard,shingles,decking,etc.byusingcardboard,chipboard,paint,glue,sawdust,aluminumfoil,styrofoam,etc.
3.Studentswillventureoutsideoftheclassroomtogathermaterialstobeusedforaddingfinishingdetailstotheir
homes/landplots.
