Rahul Gandhis claim of ISI recruiting Muzaffarnagar riot victims was a Lie

Rahul Gandhi Vice-President of Congress in a rally at Indore during October, 2014 claimed that
Pakistans ISI were trying to recruit youngsters who were victims of Muzaffarnagar riot in order to
carry out there nefarious designs. He also said that intelligence had inputs that some ISI agents
were in touch with riot victims

This was a serious allegation, if the inputs were proved to be true then it might further severe
relationship between India and Pakistan, which are already in fragile state.

Rajya Sabha MP Shri Prakash Javadekar had asked (unstarred) question( no. 1612) to the
Ministry of the Home Affairs about this issue regarding whether there were any such intelligence
inputs about Pakistans ISI establishing contact with youths of families belonging to minority
community, who were affected during recent communal violence in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar
Pradesh?

The question was answered on 5/02/2014 and it clearly state that as per information available from
Central Intelligence Agency, there were no such inputs that suggested that Pakistans ISI had
contacted youths of families belonging to minority communities who were affected during recent
communal riots in Muzzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh
