Overview/Rationale
Students will learn beginners Chinese language. They will work in a
group of 4. Each student will have a certain responsibility to fulfill and
this will be determined for each group member. After they have learned
language they will create a movie regarding the language and
information about this.

provide and obtain information, express feelings and emotions, and
exchange opinions.

and spoken language on a variety of topics

Presentational Communication: Students present information,
concepts, and ideas to an audience of listeners or readers on a variety of
topics.

Learning Objectives Learning to speak basic Chinese sentences used in every- day
life.
Develop a beginners level of vocabulary (150-200 characters)
Learn the grammatical of structure of the language.
Be able to have a basic conversation in Chinese.

Procedure/Instructions Select groups will present their movie on the assigned discussion
topic from the prior day to the class.
