Rules of Reassessment w.e.f Winter 2012 Examinations 1. For reassessment students must apply within 3 days after the declaration of the results. 2. During first reassessment if difference is less than 15% of max. marks of subject (i.e if total marks are 70 marks, then 10 marks of difference and if the paper is of 80 marks then 12 marks of difference) then no second reassessment will be done and no change of marks will be declared. But if the difference is more than 15%, second reassessment will be done and the result will be one which is nearer to the original result. 3. Reassessment is permitted only in university theory exam. 4. No reassessment will be done for Internal, Viva, practical, CEP (Mid Sem Exam) and Term Work component of the subject and also there will be no reassessment for DP-I, Mid-Sem Research Review, ITD and for Dissertation exam. 5. Student failing in more than 2 Subjects will not be eligible to apply for reassessment. 6. Reassessment can be applied for maximum two subjects per semester. 7. He/she shall abide by the revised result even if it is adverse. 8. The result of the student revised on account of reassessment shall not entitle the student for medal/prize. 9. Reassessment is allowed only in final year semesters of B.E, B.Pharm, B.Arch, B.HM&CT and diploma course. In case of PG courses it is allowed in all semesters. 10. Rechecking is permitted in all semesters of all courses. 11. A student can apply for reassessment of his own answer books only. 12. For reassessment no fee shall be returned irrespective of whether the marks are changed or not. 13. For rechecking, in case there is a change of marks, the rechecking fee shall be returned.
