Students will be asked to give their answers for document D. After each questions I have the answers on the document analysis on powerpoint. Students should be adding to their answers to ensure they have all important information. 5 minutes We will read Document E as a class. I will ask students questions regarding the sources. Who were they? Why are they reliable sources? 10 minutes Students may work in pairs to answer the 4 questions in the Document Analysis. 5 minutes We will have an open class discussion on the treatment of women. I will ask students if they believed that the treatment of women benefited the whole society of Sparta. How? I will also review the questions from the Women Education reading. Why didnt other societies follow the example of Sparta?
