1. A car fitted with hydraulic brakes is travelling along a strait road at a
speed of 100 km/hr, the driver sees an optical and he decides to rapid
braking.
Calculate the total stopping time from the moment the driver
sees the optical until the car stop.
Calculate the total stopping distance.
Draw the relation between time and car velocity (speed) and
Determine after what time the car speed is 40 km/hr.

2. The brakes of a car applied from when the car is doing 120 km/hr, How
far the car gone when the speed of the car is 50 km/hr, Draw the
relation between time and velocity and determine the time taken to
get a velocity of 80 km/hr. (The car fitted with ABS).

3. A car is travelling at 110 km/hr when the driver sees something that
requires rapid braking.
Find the total distance in (Meters) travelled by the car from the
moment the driver first sees the problem until the car stop.
Draw the relation between time and car velocity (speed) and
Determine the velocity after 1 sec. and 2 sec.

4. A heavy vehicle fitted with air brakes system is travelling at 60 km/hr
along strait road.
Find the total distance travelled by the car from the moment the
driver decided to stop.
Find the total distance travelled by the car to reduce the car
velocity to 20 km/hr.
Draw the relation between time and car velocity (speed) and
determine the time required to reduce the car velocity to 25
km/hr if the braking applied to stop the car.
