Pork Spaghetti

Ingredients:

1 glass jar of dolmios classic tomato sauce
1 onion
1 garlic
Sugar
2 carrots
200g pork mince
- table spoon of vegetable oil
a pack of shell pasta
A couple of leaves of parsley
Plain bread

Method:

1. Put pot of water on stove and bring to boil.
2. Peel and dice garlic, onion, and carrots.
3. Place pot onto stove and heat pot with drizzle of vegetable oil in it.
4. Once heated put carrots, garlic, and onions into the frypan and let them sit for a minute until
they brown.
5. The water should be boiled by now so pour into the boiled water and let cook.
6. Put the pork mince into the pot with the onions, garlic, and carrots and stir until the mince is
cooked.
7. Make sure all vegetables and mince are cooked before pouring in dolmios classic sauce.
8. The pasta should be cooked by now so take off the stove and drain the water out of it.
9. Stir sauce before taking off the stove.
10. Slice bread then place into grill to toast until toasted the take out.
11. Now start plating up.
12. Put as much pasta as you want onto your plates then add the sauce after that place parsley
on the top and put the bread on the side.

PLUS MINUS IMPROVEMENT
SAUCE There was a sufficient
amount of sauce for two
people
The dolmios sauce was too
sweet and that was by its self.
Instead of using dolmios
sauce I will use a can of
tomatoes and some tomato
paste.
SAUCE My meat was not under
cooked
The meat cooked very fast
therefore it did not break up
into small pieces instead
stayed as big chunks
For the meat I will break it
up into small pieces as fast
and as soon as I can so cook
and stay in big chunks
PASTA My pasta was not under
cooked
I had cooked enough pasta for
three to four people
Lower the amount of pasta I
use
TIMING All ingredients were
chopped perfectly
I spent too much time
chopping my ingredients for
my sauce
I could pre chop one or two
ingredients so I dont spend
too much time on chopping
Evaluation
My dolmios sauce was too sweet as it is so I am going to try a can of tomatoes, cinnamon and some
tomato paste, I spent too much time chopping my ingredient so in my next experiment I will pre
chop one or two ingredients, when I put my meat into the fry pan the heat was on high and
therefore it cooked very fast which meant that I could not break it up into smaller pieces so for my
next experiment I will break it into smaller pieces as fast and as soon as I can. With my pasta I
cooked more than I needed to, so on m next experiment I will put less pasta in. also in this
experiment we only had 45 minutes to cook and clean so I could cook my pasta at school however
when I got home and cooked it didnt take long and it was cooked perfectly, but next lesson we will
have a full hour to cook and clean.
