equipped with the auto setup function. Do
not turn the power OFF until the adjustment
for steps *45 to *48 Automatic Gamma
Adjustment for Printer is completed.
Initial Adjustment of the Auto-toner
1. Turn the power switch ON.
2. When the copier starts operating, the
message WAIT appears.
3. When adjustment has been performed, the
following message appears in a few minutes.
Upper: Current sensor voltage (V)
Middle: Adjustment value, Humidity (%)
Lower: Reference voltage for adjustment (V)
The current voltage (V) automatically changes
to come close gradually to the reference
voltage for the adjustment.
Installing Toner Cartridge
(STEP 46-2 to 46-6)
1. Install the toner cartridge for each color (Y, M,
C, K) based on the following message. See
steps 46-2 to 46-6 for installing procedures.
The following adjustment should be performed
according to the order to be completed correctly.
If Readjust from IQC-Adjustment., Readjust
from Registration, or Readjust from Gamma-
Adjustment (*). appears on the right side of the
message Adjustment step is not correct.,
perform the adjustment again based on the
message.

the processing speed such as copy and print
may slow down.
If the customers want to stop the data
encryption function after starting to use, or to
add the function to the current equipment, ask
it for the service technician.

Si les clients ne dsirent plus utiliser la
fonction de scurit de donnes, ou lajouter
lquipement actuel, ils doivent demander cela
au technicien dentretien.

Grundeinstellung der
Auto-Toner-Funktion
1. Den Netzschalter einschalten.
2. Wenn der Kopierer beginnt zu funktionieren,
erscheint die Meldung WAIT.
3. Nach der Justierung wird die folgende
Meldung nach einigen Minuten erscheinen.
Oben: Derzeitige Sensorspannung (V)
Mitte: Justierungswert. Luftfeuchtigkeit (%)
Unten: Bezugsspannung fr die Justierung (V)
Die gegenwrtige Spannung (V) wird
automatisch allmhlich der Bezugsspannung
fr die Justierung angept.
4. Der Ausgangswert des Auto-Toner-Sensors
wird nach einigen Minuten in der Mitte
erscheinen und dann ist die Justierung
erledigt.

1. Je nach der folgenden Anzeige die Toner-
Patrone fr jede Farbe (Y, M, C, K) einsetzen.

Installationsverfahren.

Hinweis:
Die Maschine aktiviert sich automatisch im
Konfigurationsmodus, wenn man sie vor dem
normalen Ende des Schritts *45 ausschaltet.

Einsetzen der Toner-Patrone fr jede Farbe
(Y, M, C, K) erscheint, die Taste [OK]
drcken.
Die folgende Justierung ist der Reihenfolge
nach durchzufhren, um sie richtig zu Ende

Automatische Gamma-Einstellung fr
Kopienbetriebsart
1. Die Kassette fr DIN A4-Papier whlen.
(Papier einlegen, falls in keiner der Kassetten
DIN A4-Papier vorhanden ist.)
2. [4] [FAX]
Hiernach gibt der Kopierer das Testblatt fr
die Einstellung aus.
3. Das Testblatt nach unten weisend auf die
Glasplatte auflegen. Es mu so liegen, da
sich die 2 Tiefschwarz-Rechtecken an der
linken Seite befinden. Das Blatt mu mit der
oberen linken Ecke ausgerichtet werden.
4. [1642] [START]
Der Scanner liet automatisch das Original
und die Gradationskalibrierung wird
durchgefhrt.
5. Falls bei der Einstellung in 4 ein Fehler
eintritt, erscheint die Meldung ERROR.
Mglicherweise ist das aufgelegte Original auf
der Glasplatte verrutscht. Die Taste
[CANCEL] drcken und das Original noch
einmal neu auflegen und den Vorgang ab
Schritt 3 wiederholen.
6. Die Taste [ENTER] drcken.

Einstellung der
Datensicherheitsfunktion
Wenn die Kunden die Datensicherheitsfunktion
bettigen wollen, ist die Funktion je nach dem
folgenden Verfahren einzustellen.
1. Bei gleichzeitigem Drcken der Tasten [0] und
[8] den Netzschalter einschalten.
2. [9379] [START]
3. [1] [START]
4. [690] [START] [2] [ENTER]
Niemals das Gert ausschalten, whrend
SYSTEM MODE WAIT angezeigt ist.
5. Prfen, dass REBOOT THE MACHINE
erscheint und dann den Netzschalter
ausschalten.
Hinweis:
Wenn die Datensicherheitsfunktion eingestellt
ist, sind den Kunden die folgenden Sachen zu
erklren.
Wenn die Datensicherheitsfunktion verwendet
ist, kann es sein, dass die
Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit, sowie fr Kopieren
und Drucken, etwas langsamer wird.
Wenn die Kunden die Datensicherheitsfunktion
nicht mehr benutzen wollen, oder in dem
jeweiligen Gert einbauen lassen mchten,
mssen sie sich mit dem Service-Techniker in
Kontakt stellen.
6. Die Taste [ENTER] drcken.
7. Die Taste [CLEAR] drcken, um auf das
zuerst angezeigte Bild zurckzutreten.
8. Die Taste [ENERGY SAVER] etwas gedrckt
halten, bis das Gert ganz ausgeschaltet ist.
Einstellung von Datum und Uhrzeit
1. Den Netzschalter einschalten.
2. Die Taste [USER FUNCTIONS] drcken.
3. Die Taste [ADMIN] drcken. Die Taste
[PASSWORD] drcken. [123456]
(Anfangswert) des [Admin Password]
eingeben und dann die Taste [ENTER]
drcken.
4. Die Taste [GENERAL], [CLOCK] et
[DATE/TIME] drcken.
5. Das Jahr, den Monat, das Datum, die Stunde
und die Minute einstellen und die Taste
[ENTER] drcken.
6. [ENERGY SAVER] [SHUTDOWN]

Los modelos e-STUDIO 2500c, 3500c y 3510c
estn suministradas de una funcin
automtica de configuracin. No apagar la
mquina hasta el fin del ajuste para los
pasos *45 hasta *48. Ajuste automtico
gama para la impresora.
Ajuste inicial del sstema tner
automtico
1. Encender el interruptor de energa.
2. Al comenzar a funcionar la copiadora, el
mensaje WAIT aparece.
3. Despus de efectuarse el ajuste, dentro de
unos minutos aparecer el mensaje siguiente.
Superior: Voltaje de sensor actual (V)
Medio: Valor de ajuste, Humedad (%)
Inferior: Voltaje de referencia para el ajuste (V)
El voltaje actual cambia automticamente
poco a poco hasta aproximarse el voltaje de
referencia para el ajuste.
Instalacin de los cartuchos de tner
(PASOS 46-2 hasta 46-6)
1. Instalar el cartucho tner para cada color (Y,
M, C, K) segn el mensaje siguiente.
Referirse a los pasos 46-2 a 46-6 para los
procedimientos de instalacin.
4. El valor de salida del sensor tner automtico
se indica en el medio en pocos minutos y
despus el ajuste se ha acabado.

5. Presionar la tecla [ENTER].
Nota:
La mquina se activa automticamente en el
modo de configuracin si se la enciende antes
del fin normal del paso *45.
2. Al aparecer el mensaje siguiente despus de
la instalacin del cartucho tner para cada
color (Y, M, C, K), presionar la tecla [OK].
Para obtener resultados completamente
correctos, es necesario que se efecte el ajuste
siguiente segn el orden dado. Si Readjust
from IQC-Adjustment, Readjust from
Registration o Readjust from Gamma-
Registration (*) aparece en el lado derecho del
mensaje Adjustment step is not correct, volver
a efectuar el ajuste segn el mensaje.

Ajuste de control de calidad de imagen

3. Colocar la grfica, cara hacia abajo, en el
cristal de forma que los dos rectngulos
negros slidos se puedan poner al lado
izquierdo. La grfica debe alinearse con el
rincn superior de la izquierda.

El escner lee automticamente el original y
efecta la calibracin de gradacin.
5. Si el ajuste no se ha ejecutado correctamente
en 4, aparece ERROR. Es possible que el
original no se haya colocado
apropriadamente. Presionar la tecla
[CANCEL], volver a colocar el original,
retornar a 3 y realizar la operacin otra vez.
6. Presionar la tecla [ENTER].

impresora
1. Seleccionar la cassette del tamao de papel
A4. (Si no hay papel del tamao A4 en
ninguna de las cassettes, es necesario
ponerlo.)

Puesta de la fecha y la hora
1. Encender el interruptor de energa.
2. Presionar la tecla [USER FUNCTIONS].
3. Presionar la tecla [ADMIN], presionar la techa
[PASSWORD]. Teclear [123456] (valor inicial)
de la [Admin Password] y despus presionar
la tecla [ENTER].
4. Presionar la tecla [GENERAL], [CLOCK] y
[DATE/TIME].
5. Introducir los datos del ao, mes, da, hora y
minutos y presionar la tecla [ENTER].
6. [ENERGY SAVER] [SHUTDOWN]
Configuracin de la funcin de
seguridad de datos
Cuando los clientes deseen utilizar la funcin de
seguridad de datos, efectuar la configuracin de
la funcin segn los procedimientos siguientes.
1. Encender la mquina mientras que se
presionan al mismo tiempo las teclas [0] y [8].
2. [9379] [START]
3. [1] [START]
4. [690] [START] [2] [ENTER]
Nunca apagar la mquina mientras que se
visualiza SYSTEM MODE WAIT.
5. Asegurarse de que REBOOT THE
MACHINE aparezca y despus apagar la
mquina.
Nota:
Cuando se haya efectuado la funcin de
seguridad de datos, explicar a los clientes los
puntos siguientes.
Al utilizarse la funcin de seguridad de datos,
es posible que la rapidez de algunos trabajos,
tales como el copiado y la impresin, pueda
hacerse ms lenta.
Si los clientes no desean ms utilizar la
funcin de seguridad de datos, o aadir la
funcin a la mquina actual, deben pedir esto
al tcnico de servicio.
