Narrative

A 24 year old female from Burlington WI is dead following a single-occupant crash in
Walworth County on Friday, J une 6

At approximately 530am, Walworth County Sheriff received a call of a crash with severe
injuries. This crash occurred on Cranberry Road near Berndt Road in the Town of Lyons.

Responding Deputies found a severely damaged vehicle in the road. The driver and sole
occupant of the 2006 Volkswagen Passat was identified as Danielle Lee Heath, age 24, of
Burlington, WI. Initial investigation revealed that Heath was eastbound on Cranberry Road at a
high rate of speed and lost control after cresting a hill. The vehicle crossed the center line and
struck a tree in the west bound ditch line. The vehicle then came to rest in the roadway where
it was discovered by a passerby.

Heath was extricated from the vehicle and the Walworth County Coroners Office pronounced
her dead at the scene.

Walworth County Sheriff was assisted by Lyons Fire and Rescue and Wisconsin State Patrol.
