See the full coursework document for full details
Your reflective statement allows you to demonstrate more detailed aspects of
learning outcomes 1,3,5, These were already covered in other parts of the
assessments, and you will be assessed on the quality of your reflection on those
achievements.
You are expected to reference sources as evidence for some of your assertions for
each of these three items and thus to follow normal academic conventions for
acknowledging sources.
In particular I want you to reflect on:
your groups ability to Recommend potential strategic application of IT in the
digital marketplace (LO1) (5 marks) (eg how strong was your group's case for
investment? Compare it to other investment bids such as Proof of Concept or
recently publicised tech start-ups);
the extent to which a small team, like yours, can, within three weeks
Conceptualise ways to improve the interface between the business (or
organisation) and IT (LO3) (10 marks) (eg how innovative and well developed
was your group's idea? Compare your idea to those of your potential
competitors. Consider academic literature on innovation what is reasonable
to achieve in six weeks?); and
identify how much better you could brief staff, management and investors
(part of LO5) (10 marks) (that is, what would you improve in your teams
presentation, or in the preparation you did for the presentation? You could
reference guidance on presentation techniques
