Performed the duties of a camp counselor with the additional responsibilities of
supervising counselors, assigning counselors to campers, correcting poor choices
made by campers and resolving any behavioral issues as they arose.
Camp Counselor, Summers 2009-2012
Worked with children and adults between the ages of 7-21 who have been
diagnosed with a physical or mental disability. Responsibilities included personal
care of campers who are unable to perform care unassisted (such as bathing,
toileting, and feeding) and providing a safe and fun environment for campers to try
new experiences that they may not have the opportunity to do at home such as
climbing a rock wall, swimming and acting in a play.
American Diabetes Associations Camp Aspire Rush, New York
Camp Counselor, Summer 2009- 2013
Worked with children ages 7-17 with Type 1 diabetes. Responsibilities included
testing blood glucose levels, administering proper food proportions, counting
carbohydrates and modeling proper diabetes management all while encouraging
campers to have fun and participate in camp activities such as swimming, fishing
and climbing the rock wall.
Bucknell University Department of Theatre and Dance Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
Stage Manager, Fall 2010 - Spring 2014
Stage-managed or assistant stage-managed seventeen (17) shows. Responsibilities
included supervising actors and technical staff during three-hour rehearsals on a
five-day schedule as well as organizing rehearsal schedules for all actors, directors
and technical staff involved in the productions. Managed smooth transitions
during performances by keeping all company members and volunteers on task and
worked cooperatively to deconstruct the set after the final performance.

Worked eight (8) hours per week in the scene shop building sets for both
mainstage and showcase productions produced by the Department of Theatre and
Dance. Responsibilities included building sets, hanging lights and striking sets at
the completion of the production.
