Sulitnya membangun hubungan kemitraan jangka panjang dengan
pemasok menjadi masalah yang selalu dihadapi oleh perusahaan pengolahan makanan skala menengah di Indonesia. Dengan menerapkan faktor-faktor budaya organisasi dalam strategic supplier partnership dapat mendukung keberhasilan hubungan jangka panjang dengan pemasok. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengembangkan suatu model proposisi strategic supplier partnership yang bertujuan untuk membangun hubungan kemitraan jangka panjang dengan supplier. Pengembangan model tersebut dilakukan dengan metode triangulasi data dan kemudian harus divalidasi melalui expert view. Berdasarkan hasil expert view dengan Factory Manager PT. Pahala Bahari Nusantara, disimpulkan bahwa communication, trust, commitment, information sharing, cooperation, respect, dan satisfaction dapat mempengaruhi penerapan strategic supplier partnership yang mengacu pada long-term relationship dengan supplier. Dengan membangun long-term relationship dengan pemasok maka dapat meningkatkan performa dan profit perusahaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini tidak dapat digeneralisasikan, namun dapat menjadi pedoman untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat dilakukan di industri perusahaan lainnya selain perusahaan pengolahan makanan. ABSTRACT The difficulty of build a long-term partnerships with suppliers always become a problem which faced by medium-scale food manufacturing sector in Indonesia. This research indicates that the factors of organizational culture in strategic supplier partnership would be able to support the successful of the long-term relationships with suppliers. This research focuses to develop a model of strategic supplier partnership proposition that aims to build long-term partnerships with suppliers. The development model was done using the method of data triangulation and must be validated through expert view . The results of the expert view with the factory manager of PT. Pahala Bahari Nusantara explain that communication, trust, commitment, information sharing, cooperation, respect, and satisfaction can affect strategic supplier partnership which could lead us to a long term relationship with suppliers. The long term relationships with suppliers could be able to improve the companys performance and profitability. The results of this research cant be generalized, but it could be a guideline for the further research. Further research is expected to be done by another manufacturing sector besides the industrial food manufacturing sector.
