The FPGEE is offered twice each year, and it is administered at Pearson VUE test sites
throughout the continental United States.
The 250 questions on the FPGEE are divided among four content areas:
Basic biomedical sciences 16%
Pharmaceutical Sciences 30%
Social, behavioral, administrative pharmacy sciences 22%
Clinical sciences 32%
The fee schedule is as follows:
Initial application: $800 (Includes a $200 fee for the evaluation of documentation and
a $600 fee for the examination.)
Re-examination after failure: $600
Re-application after withdrawal or file closure: $800
Should finish your internship 1300 hrs.
Fee for the NAPLEX is $485
Measures a candidates knowledge of the practice of pharmacy.
185-item computer-based examination (150+35)
4 hours and 15 minutes with an optional 10-minute break after approximately two
hours of testing time.
Fee for the MPJE is $200
Combines federal- and state-specific questions to test the pharmacy jurisprudence
knowledge of prospective pharmacists.
The MPJE is a 2-hours.
