Agenda for today’s meeting with Operational team

1. Resource needs at onsite: (list what we know, list probably needs)

2. We need code for the following. :

a. CSS – all the latest file by 02/29/2008
b. Lucene – couple of class files by 02/29/2008
c. Memcached - couple of class files by 02/29/2008
We need the code by 02/29/2008. Discuss the code size and mechanism of
transfer.

3. Hardware and software requirements for Development and QA environments.

a. Proposed Hardware for Dev: 2 CPU with 2 GB each for Web/App server,
20 GB HDD

2 CPU with 2 GB each for DB/Content repository, 20 GB HDD

Virtualized environment in the platform. Need to buy OS licenses for dev machines –
1000$.

b. Proposed Hardware for QA: 3 CPU with 2 GB each for Web/App server,
20 GB HDD

3 CPU with 2 GB each for DB/Content repository, 40 GB HDD

c. OS – Linux.

d. Question for LDAP – do we need to integrate with NPG LDAP ?

4. Update on App server (JBoss vs. Tomcat) – Need to lockdown the decision by
03/07/2008?
5. Content repository options
a. Can we store the content in some file server and use Lucene as search
engine
b. Do we need MarkLogic just for storing contents?
6. Discuss class model and data model for core framework and utility classes. We
will discuss the dev design plan and communicate when to expect items for
review
7. Any feedback on Java coding standards? Construction has already started and
although a change at this moment may cause some rework, we would like to lock
it down by 02/29/2008.
