Umpire training course to be held at Cricket NSW this winter

An umpire training course for prospective umpires on the Laws of Cricket will be facilitated by
NSW Cricket Umpires & Scorers Association NSWCUSA! at Cricket NSW starting on "onday #$

*hose wishing to undertake an assessment on the Laws of Cricket. in order to receive a
recognised cricket umpiring 1ualification. can do so on #& August)
Accredited NSWCUSA *rainers. including umpires who have officiated at the first class level. will
facilitate this course which is aimed at recruiting prospective umpires for the Sydney Cricket
Association SCA! competitions)
Umpiring is a great way to stay involved in the game. as many will tell you 2it is the best seat in

Umpires who officiate in the SCA competitions are remunerated for their service. an amount
which well and truly covers any e5penses incurred) 6fficiating in the SCA can be a launching pad
for umpires into senior representative cricket. and a full time professional career in umpiring. with
NSWCUSA members 7odney *ucker and 8erard Abood officiating at the elite level in cricket
having progressed through the SCA ranks)
