Escala de Ashworth / Ashworth Scale

La escala de Ashworth mide la espasticidad mediante la resistencia del

msculo al movimiento pasivo. El doctor mueve cada brazo y pierna
para ver que tan rpido lo puede hacer y anota la resistencia que l
siente de acuerdo a la escala.

Ashworth scale assesses spasticity by measuring resistance to passive
muscle lengthening. The doctor takes each arm and leg moving then
to see how fast he/she can do it. He assigns a number to the amount
of resistance he feels according to the scale.
