A level level ladder

Grade A/A*
Students will be able to explain all phenomena accurately, using principles
of electromagnetism. The correct chains of cause/effect will be noted.
Feedback loops may also be explained, and how Lenzs law relates to these
effects. Other equations may also be noted, and rules such as Flemings
LHR and the right hand grip rule may be mentioned.

Grade C
Students will be able to explain some of the phenomena. An awareness of
some the relevant cause/effects will be demonstrated. Some use of
equations/principles may be evidenced to help explain effects.

Grade E
Students will be able to explain at least one phenomena in a simple but
accurate manner. The chain of cause/effect may not be complete.
Limited use of equations/principles.
