    I pray the Adivasi will never forget to sing


    the language of birds and waterfalls
    To you they are birds
    to me they are voices in the forest
    the land grammar of my soul
    Pragmatic, poetic
    house of my being
    a carrier of meaning
    loud with voices of place and villagers
