available at Precious Little Ones School. I am committed to providing a learning environment for
young children that is supportive, challenging, meaningful, which respects and celebrates the
diversity of each child.

As an early childhood educator I have had experience teaching children at various stages
of development. I understand that children learn at their own pace and I encourage children to
learn through play, hands-on activities, stimulating manipulatives, role-playing, centers and
social interactions. I use various teaching methods to ensure that all students are experiencing
growth in the areas of cognitive, physical, and social/emotional development. I observe,
document and assess children regularly to determine their development in all areas and
effectively plan curriculum to meet each childs needs.

I believe that a partnership between the teacher and the childs family is essential to the
childs well-being, positive learning and development. Daily communication with families is
imperative. Through this partnership I am empowering families to be actively involved in their
childs journey of learning. I believe in working together as a team towards the goal of preparing
their child for lifes challenges.
