Guidelines for Cancellation of Admission to M Sc Programmes and Hostel

The Application for Cancellation of Admission to M.Sc. Programmes/GIPE Hostels and


Refund pre-receipt/voucher can be downloaded from www.gipe.ac.in

Applications for cancellation of admission to M.Sc. Programmes/GIPE Hostels should be
submitted only in the prescribed form either

a. by submitting in person the application duly filled in and signed, along with the
original fee receipt and the Refund pre-receipt/ voucher to the Academic Section of
the Institute.

OR

by email addressed to admission@gipe.ac.in and hostels@gipe.ac.in respectively.
Candidates who submit the request for cancellation by e-mail are required to send
print copies of their Application for Cancellation and original fee receipt in a sealed
envelope superscribed Application for cancellation of admission to M.Sc.
(Economics/Financial Economics/Agribusiness Economics) 2014-16 to the
Admissions Office, GIPE, by Speed Post.

If the request for cancellation is received via e-mail, the date of e-mail will be
considered as the date of cancellation and refund will be processed accordingly.
However, admission will be canceled only upon receipt of the print copy of the
Application for Cancellation and the original fee receipt at the Admissions Office.

Refund will be arranged through RTGS/NEFT only upon receipt of print copy of the
Application for Cancellation, original fee receipt and signed pre-receipt/ voucher.
In case a candidate wishes to send a representative to collect the deposited documents if
any, then the representative should carry letter of authorization with the name and
signature of the person authorized to collect the same.
If a student who applies for Application for Cancellation has not received the fee receipt,
then the bank challan (original) may be submitted in lieu of fee receipt.
