2. Design a four port non reciprocal device which can be used as a duplexer.
Elaborate its working using Faraday rotation principle. Hence obtain its [S]
matrix.

3. What are avalanche transit time devices? Explain the working of BARITT
with neat sketches.

4. Analyze the various oscillation modes in a bulk n-GaAs material.

5. Propose a suitable microwave bench setup for VSWR measurement. Hence
elaborate the procedure for measuring low and high VSWR.
