If you have a great high concept, thats half the work. Come up with
problems that need to be overcome and pack them in as tight as possible. I
like to brainstorm problems on a whiteboard and come up with dozens and
dozens of them. Then find the five to ten that are the coolest, that work the
best, and use those to build out the plot.
Whos life would be made worst by my plot concept.
Who are the people who will be *most* effected by your plot, by your
protagonists struggles, by your villains ruthless pursuit of his goals? Thats
your cast.
