Internship Description:
The Vera Institute of Justice is an organization which seeks to identify and
implement ways to make a more equitable society. The Vera Institute works
with politicians and citizens to develop policies and organizations that will help
bring justice to people and communities throughout New York City and the
country.

An internship at the Vera Institute is an amazing opportunity for students who

are interested in seeing how social justice organizations function and
experiencing the work that they do. As an intern at the Vera Institute, you will
be assisting the staff, including the many lawyers, with clerical office work as
well as on important research projects and programs.

required to attend mandatory sessions before, during, and after their
internship. Stipend payment will be dependant on your attendance and may be
