Political power; purpose of government

Section 2. All political power is inherent in the people, and governments
derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established
to protect and maintain individual rights.
The peoples petitions to get the red light cameras on the November ballot have
passed the scrutiny of the County Clerk and the issue will be on the Sierra Vista
ballot. Now the people of Sierra Vista have a voice in the matter to stand up for our
freedoms.
With the primary elections coming shortly, August 26th, the City of Sierra Vista
voters can hold Mayor Mueller and Sierra Vista City Council member
Blanchard and 2011 Councilman Hampton accountable for taking nearly $1.3
Million per year from the buying power of the local population. In this time of
recession that is exactly what they did by voting to install the Redflex Camera
systems at four intersections within the city limits. Yes, it is true that there will be a
referendum on Redflex cameras in the November elections, but each voter can
express their displeasure to the mayor and each of the City Council members for this
drastic economic impact by their vote in the primary. It is true that Redflex may have
created some local positions to support camera operations but those positions are
insignificant to the local economy when compared to the $1.3 million deficit it taken
out from the buying power of the local population.
Have you ever heard that Government (including the Mayor and City Council) is
established to protect and maintain individual rights? It is right in our State
Constitution (see box below). Note the plural form of Governments includes State
officials, cities, counties and school and fire districts.

Arizona Constitution Article II (on AZ.gov web site)

Did Mayor Mueller and City Council members Blanchard or Hampton protect
and maintain your rights when they voted for Redflex? They will claim this was
done for safety reasons to reduce the accident rate at those intersections. Well one of
the communitys resident engineers, Neil Barrett did a study that concluded: (see
http://neilbarrettenginee.wix.com/sv-photo-radar-facts)

Why keep the people in office that voted for the Red Light Cameras? Reward
the candidate who stood for the peoples rights and fought against the red light
cameras. Tom Crosby voted against the Red Light Cameras. Tom Crosby is
running for Mayor in the August 26th Primary. You choose

Note: On red lights petitions the highest of those signatures rejected were for not
registered voters. Please be sure you are registered to vote!
The Bottom line for me is the Redflex systems are costing the citizens of Sierra
Vista millions of dollars per year without a detectable or relevant level of
safety improvement that is the requirement for such a system. Since thats the
case, why keep the photo radar systems?

INDEPENDENCE DAY, 2014
By Iris D. Lynch
According to a recent PEW survey, 81% of Business
Conservatives and 72% of Steadfast Conservatives say that
often feel proud to be American describes them well! And a
belief that honor and duty are core values is far more
widespread among these two Conservative groups than among
the Liberal Groups surveyed.
On the other hand, the PEW survey also found that 60%
of full-spectrum Solid Liberals are not proud to be
Americans. As for the other 40% they often feel proud to be
American. Additionally, 80% of solid Liberals believe that
racial discrimination is the main reason why many blacks cant
get ahead these days, while 87% believe that abortion should
be legal in almost all circumstances (one week before
delivery?), and 83% say the government should do more to
help the needy, even it means going deeper into debt.
However, it is also well known that liberals are great at
making laws for others to follow; at giving advice for one and
all; and are absolutely cheap when it comes to contributing any
of their own earnings to the causes they support. They are also
well educated, with 52% holding degrees, and probably learned
how to be snobs in any of the liberal colleges they attended.
I found this particularly interesting, since it is a new poll
that has been taken while we are welcoming, with open borders,
mass numbers of refugees, both young and old alike.
Although the advertisement is that these are
unaccompanied children, pictures show that those who are truly
unaccompanied are older than babies and toddlers. In fact, the
smuggled pictures show mostly teenage children. While these
people, regardless of age, are supposedly fleeing from hunger,
gangs, and exceptionally poor living conditions, they all appear
to be well dressed, clean and exceedingly well fed. An early
call for adult super-size underwear surely is indicative of well-
fed teens and adults.
It is also of great interest that the hue and cries for
welcoming these strangers in our midst come from the Liberals.
As already mentioned, that is a group well known for their
disinterest in giving for any cause that does not reflect any
increase in their own pocketbooks. And although they are full
of themselves with phony emotions regarding the welfare of
these refugees, they are turning them away from their cities
with anger and gusto.
Relocation requests have been turned down in Illinois
(Obamas home state), Alabama, Virginia and 5 places in
New York. And we have all seen the best yet of that trend,
from (oh no!) Conservative California. Wait a minute! That is
a wholly owned LIBERAL state. The city of Murietta is still
located in California, last I heard. However, the City Manager
does not agree with his voters and has said, It made this
extremely compassionate community look heartless and
uncaring. Id guess he has no children of his own or hasnt
thought out the future they will have competing for jobs in the
not too distant future.
I guess it all depends on which it is you love more, your
own children or the vote-getting-fiction that you are a heartfelt
Liberal.
My solution? Insist that only Liberals each adopt one of
these children, feed them, clothe them, educate them and let
them grow to learn from their own experience, just how loving
Liberals truly are.
Care to guess how many that will be?

What Obama Program Caused the Current Crisis
Tens of thousands of children and young adults have
illegally crossed America's southwest border this year. Want to
know why?
In June 2012, the President used an executive order to
create DACA: the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
program. Under this umbrella, unlawful minors were granted
de facto amnesty! From Heritage Action for America
