HOW TO CONFIGURE EUDORA FOR GMAIL

The steps for configuring Eudora for Gmail are given below.
Step 1. Download & install Eudora software in pc.
Step 2. Open Eudora by double clicking on the shortcut on desktop.
Step 3. The dialogue box below will open. Click cancel.

Step 4. On the left side in the persona right click on the mouse. Select new.

Step 5. Choose Skip directly to advanced account setup. Click finish.

Step 6. Create New Account will appear.

Step 7. Type "Gmail" under Personality Name:
Step 8. Type your name under Real Name:
Step 9. Type your Gmail address under Email Address:
Step 10. Type your Gmail account name under User Name:
Step 11. Your account name is what precedes "@gmail.com" in your Gmail address. If your
address is "devilviper007@gmail.com", for example, type "devilviper007".
Step 12. Type "smtp.gmail.com" under SMTP Server:
Step 13. Make sure Required, Alternate Port is selected under Secure Sockets when Sending.
Step 14. Go to the Incoming Mail tab.
Step 15. Type "imap.gmail.com" under Server:
Step 16. Make sure IMAP is selected under Configuration:
Step 17. Make sure Required, Alternate Port is the Secure Sockets when Receiving choice.

Step 18. Click OK.
Step 19. The dialogue box below will open. Input the password for your Gmail account.

Step 20. Click OK.
